I was inspired to do this piece by a fellow artist named Cepeda Brunson. We had a talk about circulationg the "Black Dollar" and creating an image that depicted that concept. I truly believe black communities don't circulate their money back into their own communities and into black owned businesses like they should. As a black female entrepreneur, I wanted to create a painting to simplify how black communities should operate on a daily basis if they want their community to grow and prosper.
